Sue Jones Office Manager Sue has worked for Depew Orthodontics since 2002. Before working for Dr. Depew, she worked as a Registered Nurse for 20 years and also developed, owned and operated a private pre-school in Dunwoody for 17 years. Sue and her husband, Lamar, have two daughters, Kellee and Ashlee, one wonderful son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren, Tate and McKenzie. Sue enjoys playing tennis, golf, boating and being a grandmother. Her favorite part of the job is managing our great team and getting to know the awesome families that are a part of our office.
Sandra Issiac New Patient Coordinator Sandra has worked with Depew Orthodontics since 1996. Prior to her time here, Sandra worked in sales and training for Estee Lauder for 15 years. She was a marketing major at Florida State University and enjoys snow skiing, boating, bicycling, and most of all, hiking with her two German Shepherds, Max and Maggie. Sandra and her husband, Mike, have three children: Steven, Jessica and Chris.
Brenda Cocchiaro Front Desk Coordinator Brenda has worked in the field of orthodontics for 14 years and has been a team member at Depew Orthodontics since 2007. She and her husband, John, have two sons, Damon and Brandon. Brenda enjoys baking, yard work and reading. The most rewarding part of her job is getting to know the parents and watching beautiful smiles be transformed.
Bethany LaClair Marketing Coordinator Bethany has worked for Depew Orthodontics since 2009. Before working for Dr. Depew, she attended Mercer University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. While in college, Bethany was very active in her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and was a member of three national honor societies. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, Ryan, watch movies or curl up on the couch with a good book. Her favorite part of her job is having the opportunity to be a part of an amazing team and getting to know all of our wonderful patients.
Shannon Miller Clinical Coordinator Shannon has worked for Depew Orthodontics since 2001. She is Academy of Orthodontic Assisting Certified (AOAC) and was also a patient of Dr. Depew's when she was in high school! She enjoys spending time with her family and going to UGA football games. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know amazing new people each and every day.
Peg Ghiardi Orthodontic Assistant and Lab Technician Peg has worked with Depew Orthodontics since 2000. Peg has worked in the orthodontic industry for over 25 years. She went to school for two years for dental assisting in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is Academy of Orthodontic Assisting Certified (AOAC) and has also completed the Lingual Braces Certification. She enjoys golfing, reading, cooking and spending time with her husband, Tom, and their three children: Peter, Cathy and Caroline. Her favorite part about working for Depew Orthodontics is impacting people’s lives in a positive way.
Brittney Bartholomew Orthodontic Assistant Brittney has been with Depew Orthodontics since April 2006 and has also been working with the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting since 2007. Brittney enjoys reading good books and spending time with her friends, family and her dog, Elly. Interacting with patients, helping them to feel as excited as she is about undergoing treatment and giving the best care possible are her favorite parts of her job.
Maegan Leon Orthodontic Assistant Maegan has worked with Depew Orthodontics since June 2008. She graduated from Paulding County High School and is Academy of Orthodontic Assisting Certified (AOAC). Maegan loves to play women/co-ed softball, ride four-wheelers and spend time with her husband, Corey. Her favorite parts about working for Depew Orthodontics are the interaction she has with the patients and how their lives change with the transformation of a smile!
Ashetin Branscum Records and Sterilization Coordinator Ashetin has worked with Depew Orthodontics since 2009. She graduated from East Paulding High School and also attended Georgia Highlands College for one year. Ashetin is also Academy of Orthodontic Assistant Certified (AOAC). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. Also, she enjoys exercising, playing volleyball and softball. Working with Dr. Depew and her fellow team members has been one of her best experiences, and she can honestly say that she loves her job.
Karen Wirth Orthodontic Assistant Karen has worked in the dental field since 1996 and began orthodontics in 2005. She was born and raised in Medina, Ohio and relocated to Atlanta in May 2007. She has been married to her husband, Steve, for 13 years, and they have two wonderful boys and a dog named Sandie. When she is not working, Karen spends most of her time at the baseball field with her sons. Her favorite part about working for Depew Orthodontics is the happiness and smiles you get from giving kids and adults a straight and beautiful smile.
